Computer Telephony

Computer Telephony Integration
Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) allows for the integration between your telephony and computer systems.


Common functions are:
• Screen popping - Generally this is used to search a business application for the caller's details so that when a caller phones your company their details (from your database) are automatically displayed on your computer screen.
• Dialing – Automatic dialing and computer controlled dialing.
• Phone control - This would include call control (answer, hang up, hold, conference, etc.) and feature control (DND, Forward, etc.) via your computer. Also dialing from your computer contacts such as those in Outlook.
• Transfer of data between two parties such as when a telephone call is transferred internally to another extension the ‘screen popped’ data is also transferred.
